Congratulations to the participants in the 4th annual Blen Art Show! Every year, we receive more applications than we are able to show. The choice is always difficult, but we have narrowed the candidates down to the artists named below. Scroll down the list to meet the artists, read their bios and view sample pieces.

We have also invited Wosene Kosrof as the distingushed and established artist to be a part of the 4th Annual Blen Art Show.

 
 
 




Born in 1950, Wosene Kosrof received his BFA in 1972 from the School of Fine Arts in Addis Ababa. Although Wosene's work gained early recognition within Addis Ababa's lively culture scene of the time, the oppressive political climate that developed in the aftermath of the 1974 military coup prompted him to leave Ethiopia. In 1978, he enrolled atgraduated from the School of Fine Arts of Addis Ababa in 1985. He has since held solo and group exhibitions in China, ... >>
